A Work Created for Your Space
Charlotte accepts a select number of private commissions each year, creating original works that respond to scale, setting, palette and atmosphere while remaining unmistakably part of her artistic practice.
The commission process
Step 01
Conversation
We begin with your space: its scale, light and setting, the dimensions you have in mind, the palette it lives with, and any installation requirements. Existing collections and works are used as reference points for direction.
Step 02
Direction
Charlotte develops an artistic direction informed by that conversation. Interpretation remains hers — a commission is an original work within her practice, not a specification to be matched.
Step 03
Creation
The work is made in Charlotte's studio, in layers, over the time it needs. Natural variation and artistic evolution are integral to an original commission; the finished painting will be related to the reference works rather than a reproduction of them.
Step 04
Completion & delivery
Final photography is shared for review. The work is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity, professionally packed, and delivered with insured shipping where applicable.
