Meet Charlotte

A studio practice built on water and weather

Charlotte George is a contemporary abstract artist whose work begins outdoors — walking shorelines, watching tides turn, photographing the exact minute light drops. Back in the studio, those observations are rebuilt in textured layers of acrylic or ink until a place becomes a feeling rather than a picture.

Her paintings are held in private collections internationally and have been shown from intimate group exhibitions to the screens of Times Square. Each original is finished, signed and released directly from the studio.
