A Year of Gratitude and Looking Ahead

Reflecting on 2025
As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on a year that has been both grounding and expansive — one filled with quiet studio moments, meaningful connections, and milestones I could never have imagined when the year began.
This year reminded me why I create.
From the slow, meditative process of working with a piece to seeing completed works take on new life beyond the studio, 2025 has been about trusting intuition and allowing each piece to evolve naturally.
The Earth’s Whisper Series
The Earth’s Whisper series became a deep exploration of movement, erosion, stillness, and the unseen forces that shape the landscapes within and around us. Working with layered ink and metallic elements, each piece developed organically — revealing itself over time rather than through intention alone.
These works asked for patience and presence, both in their creation and in how they are experienced. They became a quiet conversation between control and release.
ETHEREAL and a Moment in Times Square
One of the most surreal moments of the year was seeing four works from Earth’s Whisper featured on a digital billboard in Times Square as part of Arteom Gallery’s ETHEREAL worldwide virtual exhibition.
To witness something so personal appear on such a global stage was humbling, emotional, and deeply affirming. It served as a powerful reminder that art, even when created in solitude, has the ability to travel far beyond its point of origin.
ETHEREAL brought together artists from around the world whose practices explore atmosphere, emotion, and presence. Being included in this exhibition — and sharing my work alongside such talented creators — was an honor I will always carry with me.
Community and Connection
More than any single moment, this year has been defined by community.
To those who have followed along quietly, sent thoughtful messages, shared posts, attended exhibitions, visited my website, or welcomed my work into your homes — thank you. Your support, encouragement, and engagement are felt more deeply than words can express.
Art is not created in isolation. It exists because it is seen, felt, and received.
Looking Ahead to the Year to Come
As I move into the new year, I’m feeling inspired and excited about what lies ahead.
There are new works currently taking shape in the studio, new directions unfolding, and upcoming exhibitions and events that I can’t wait to share. The year ahead holds space for continued exploration — both materially and emotionally — and for pushing my practice forward while staying rooted in the quiet intention that guides it.
Staying Connected
I’m looking forward to sharing new art releases, exciting exhibitions, and special moments as they unfold in the months ahead. If you’d like to stay connected or be the first to hear about what’s coming next, I invite you to visit charlottegeorge.com, where I’ll be sharing updates, new work, and upcoming events.
With Gratitude
As this year closes, I do so with gratitude — for the journey, for the lessons, and for the people who have made it meaningful.
Thank you for being here.
Here’s to a creative, connected, and inspired year ahead.
